Can we please do something about these? I'm really not loving getting 15 emails a day regarding spam comments.

Hey look, the solution!

WP should have it auto-installed, you just need to sign up at wordpress.com and get an API key for it (it's free with the account).

The spam program has been activated. Wordpress claims it's one of the best spam blockers out there, so there's no reason the problem won't get any better. Thus, I will close this topic for the time being.
