HG uses an integrated chat room that combines itself with the forum. If you are having trouble getting to the Heretic-Gamer chat room you can download an IRC client. You can find the chat room on irg.gnug.org under the name #hg.

There are no rules for the chatroom other than using your best judgment. If an administrator or an OP sees you abusing the chatroom they will probably boot you. If you have any questions or would like to see a guide to using IRC in the future feel free to drop a line in the suggestions forum.
